Research

Much of our time and effort is spent researching non-native plants, trees and shrubs potentially suited for our region. We monitor these plants for seasonal hardiness, tolerance of cultural practices (transplanting, pruning, etc.), as well as resistance to pests and diseases. In addition to non-native research, we track the effects of weather patterns, pathogens and pests on our nursery and landscape stock noting abnormalities and possible solutions based on trial and error.
